Rainfall totals in August are typically around 4", however this past month mother nature felt like we needed a little more. We had a few small storms spread over the first part of the month, then got almost 2" last Sunday (August 23rd) and some bad storms over last week in which we lost a few trees. The big rain maker came this past Sunday though, we got almost 4" of rain in 6-7 hours. That put the total for the month at just over 8". Needless to say the golf course was completely washed out. We spent all of yesterday morning getting bunkers pushed back up and the rest of the day trying to get the beds that washed out back into shape. We are closed today for our regular scheduled close day and hopefully when we open back up tomorrow all signs of a storm will be cleaned up and it will be like it never happened.
The first set of pictures if from last Tuesday. This was the storm that took down some trees.
